ABOUT

Lis  designs original botanical art made with real pressed flowers.

Using a traditional hand pressing technique that preserves the flowers’ natural vitality, a selection of  floral artworks are digitally photographed in a studio using a high-res lens to capture the  exquisite detail of the original floral design and to allow for  enlarged prints that are exceptionally sharp and detailed.   It is then giclee printed on fine art paper.

Embracing the seasons, Lis selects and picks from her garden, the countryside, local growers and florists. 

Original pressed floral artworks  are  available - framed or  unframed - and a handmade range of greeting cards on handmade Indian cotton rag with matching envelopes. 

 If you have a specific floral request, we will do our best to assist, subject to availability in our herbarium and flower presses. 

Commissions are welcome, made from your special occasion flowers or straight from our herbarium, with your favourite flowers or colours. 

We run workshops in the Art of Pressing Flowers and in making Floral Art  Cards.
